unplugged blogger

I know it's been a while since I've posted any of my lovely and lengthly blogs...but I'm gonna be honest...Where has the summer gone?! I don't realize that it's been so long in between not only posts, but checks and for that i was going to apologize untill I logged on and saw that I was not the only inactive blogger. So to my other unplugged friends, I am glad you understand. And to Nate...I think you need more to do at work! And now I am getting on to excuse why we won't be on for a while again! On Wednesday of this week my brothers and sister in law are going to be coming down to our house to stay the night so that we can wake up bright and early on Thursday to head down to the Ozarks to meet my parents and the boat...yeah!! We will be down there untill late Saturday night. Then on Monday we will be leaving for CIY for the week. It should be a great week. We are taking a group of kids and none of them have ever been before! Yikes but awesome! So you won't be hearing from us for a while I presume, but please do be praying for us as we will be doing the same for all of you. Oh and one more thing (I knew a short post from me would be asking too much!) There is a church in our town, well Springfield, that is starting a multi site church. We ran into the guy that was heading it up at the NACC right before our meeting if you recall. Anyway, some of the people that are going to be core members volunteer at my work so we get to talk about it often. And last week the guy heading it up was our speaker at High School camp so we got to talk with him alot. Anyway they just bought their building and they are going to begin meeting every Sunday starting this week for lunch with the core families that are going to be joining it. They also meet every Monday to discuss plans. Well they have invited Joe and I to join them at their core group meetings and their Monday night meetings to observe and to learn whatever we can. We probably won't be able to join them until mid-August but we are going to take advantage of this and hopefully gain a lot of insight from these people. We are excited about their new campus and excited to learn from them and share with you what we learn. Hope everyone is doing well!!
