Developments at Shore
Things are looking good for the Well idea (taking over the youth service at Shore when we arrive back in NZ). Since the departure of the youth minister at Shore, the church has decided to go with a team approach, with volunteers heading up each ministry area within the youth and another person co-ordinating it all. They have asked me if I would be interested in looking after the Well. They also seemed open to the idea of making the Well a young adult orientated service, with the team being in charge of it. Nothing is concrete at the moment, but we will be meeting soon to discuss it further. I will keep you updated.
Oh, I also watched Life is Beautiful with Molly the other night. I highly recommend it--great film.

Hamish, I really appreciate all of your hard work. Thank you for serving God right now, as well as prepare the way for the rest of us to come and work on this team. I know that you are also busy teaching kids how to use computers on a bus and watching those Blockbuster videos with your lovely wife, but you still make this such a high priority. That inspires me. You have been doing a great job of being a leader so far, you make it easy to want to follow. We continue to pray for you both.

That's great to hear those comments from Shore. And I concur with Joe. Kudos, Hamish! We can't wait to do ministry with all of you!
P.S. I don't know why, but lately blogger has been putting up two and three of the same comments. Those are my deleted ones. Sorry. Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants was a good one also.
