Another Update on Bryce Wiley
I called Bryce again today to check on the status of our meeting with him this week. He is going to need some more time to think about this. His wife is no where near the point where she is willing to meet with someone to talk about moving her family to New Zealand. Bryce himself is much more open to the idea, but as we all know, our spouse must be on board when making steps towards a decision like this. I told him that it took Whitney and I long time before we both felt a strong call to New Zealand and that we understand. We may or may not hear back from Bryce. I certainly don't expect that he will be able to attend the assessment with us since it is coming up so soon. He said he is not ready to say "no," but he can't do or say anything more at this point. I told him that we would wait to hear from him when or if the timing became right for them to meet with Whitney and me. I pray that God will lead them both to the right decision in His time.

I hope everyone is doing well in your corners of the world. TODAY IS OUR 4th ANNIVERSARY! I love you, Whitney!
Tonight begins a missions class I will be taking every Thursday through December 7th at a church in Indy. It is called Worldwide Perspectives. It is designed to open student's eyes to the biblical, historical, strategic, and cultural dimensions of God's plan for the nations. Maybe after this class I'll be able to have meaningful conversations with intercultural geniuses on our team like Joe, Whitney, and Hamish. Sorry, Amy. I guess I'm leaving you behind in this area. Maybe Joe can home-school you on missions one night a week so you can try and keep up! Ha!
P.S. don't worry. Whitney and I decided that we would celebrate tomorrow night since she has a missions meeting tonight at the church as well.
