Hamish and Molly
We got an email back from "Big Mike Thompson's" son and future daughter in law. Without further ado... taa daa!
Hey guys!
I must extend my sincere apologies. Molly and I read your e-mail, prayed, and then decided to get back to you as soon as possible. Then it slipped into the confused mess that is life right now. So I am sorry that we have not gotten back to you earlier.
I am glad that you enjoyed New Zealand, and I am glad that you still have a passion to serve there--it needs your help. I am sorry that the team dynamics didn't work out as planned. I would love to talk with you guys about what went wrong there.
As for our partnership, both Molly and I are excited about where this possibility could lead us. We would love to explore it further with you. I know that schedules are ridiculous, but I would like to make it a priority to meet up with you guys--maybe over dinner somewhere--and talk about it more. Just to throw out a date--how about Monday 8th of May? We are more than willing to come down to Louisville(?), if you guys want to pick the location. What do you think about that?
Did you say that the other couple (Nate and Whitney) are also maybe interested? Maybe all six of us could meet. Let me know what you think.
Thanks again for contacting us, and we are both sorry that we didn't get back to you. We hope that this e-mail finds you well!!
God Bless,Hamish and Molly
I was glad to hear back from them. Amy and I might be able to meet May 8, she is checking on that possibility. I think Hamish and Molly think we are from Louisville, but maybe they would be willing to meet in Indiannapolis or Danville if that would work for Rori and you two. I figure we should try to see Rori before her hair grows back. Well, check out that date and tell me what you think.

I went ahead and made reservations at the Red Lobster for 5:30. Hope that's okay with everyone.

Man, I don't know what I was thinking with the whole "Big Mike Taylor" thing. I think I've just been away from New Zealand for too long. I think I'll go there for a visit next month...if I can come up with the money. I'm setting up a lemonade stand in the neighborhood tonight!
That sounds great about meeting with Hamish and Molly. I'm excited. If all of you guys would be willing to meet in Indy, we would love to take you all to dinner (since you would be doing the driving and gas-paying). Then, everybody could stay at our house Monday night and we could play Rook! Let us know if that works for you and Hamish and Molly and we'll work out the details. AWESOME!

I have to check to see if I don't have to go to the last night of one of my classes...I think that I will be able to get out of it. If that is cool with you guys we can come your way but we prob wouldn't stay the night becuase of work and a final in another class the next day! Red Lobster=gag factor from my butt=not good, butI'm up for trying again!

We don't want you guys to feel obligated to stay Monday night if it is going to cause problems with your schedule. But, you're definitely welcome to stay if you don't want to make the drive back that night. Besides, Amy could use a few more Rook lessons. Maybe she'll understand more now that she's a little older. Actually, Amy and I beat the pants off of you guys last time!
