Wiggy-wack

Did you know that some people call turntables wiggy-wacks? David Crowder does. He's cool.
Anyway, I haven't heard back from Hamish and Molly yet. They are probably super-busy right now. I'll let you know when I hear from them. Does anybody have their phone number?
I did, however, receive a typed letter and a phone call from Mr. E. Richard Crabtree himself today. He's big on writing letters on paper, isn't he? I like that man a lot. He's great. Old guys are so cool...and I really do mean that. He wanted to talk about the trip and what we thought about some things. He seems very eager to help us out in any way. He also seems excited about the possibility of us being on a team together. He suggested to me that (if we wanted to) we should invite Jeff Metzger to our meeting on May 8th. He said Jeff might want to just be there to answer questions or at least just listen in on the conversation. I told E. Richard that what we might do is try to meet a second time in Cincinnati so we wouldn't have to ask Jeff to drive in Indy. Then he could be a part of that gathering. Do you guys think we should ask him to come to Indy, or just wait for later?

In case you guys haven't figured it out yet, Nate kinda has a non-sexual man-crush on David Crowder. Remind me to tell you about the time when Nate accosted him after a concert once...

I kicked it with Crowder after a concert once at Lincoln. I just said "hey". I didn't want to bug him like most people probably do. I don't usually get too impressed by fame, except for the time I asked Brian McLaren to sign "New Kind of Christian" and then I felt dumb for a week.
Also... Dick Crabtree sent me a paper letter this week, as well. He wanted to hear what our plans were. I wrote him a long letter, and then added some more to it and sent that off to Bill Weber and Jeff Metzger.
About Jeff coming to Indy, I wouldn't mind it, but I think it would be good for the six of us to just talk unless Dick had a specific reason for suggesting that. I do think it would be good to meet with him in Cincinatti again, though.
In other news...Pray for me, please. I am preaching at a children's retreat this weekend and I don't usually do that sort of thing.

I will lift you up in prayer for this weekend. You'll do a great job. I regualarly pray for you and Amy...and lately Hamish and Molly.
I agree that it would be a good idea for the six of us to be able to talk without feeling the nerves that come with a board member in the room. Not that Jeff is a scary kind of leader/board member...I just think it would cause us all to be a bit more tense than necessary for this first meeting. We should not forget to try and set something up for Cincinnati while we're meeting on the 8th.

Ok, we should definately try to set something up on the 8th. Also, I was hoping maybe we could talk about the possibility of the Church Planters Assesment. It really scares me, but I think it would be a good next step.
Thanks for forwarding the emails to the board members. I appreciate it.
Also, have we heard back from Hamish and Molly yet?

Still haven't heard from Hamish and Molly. I'm wondering if they didn't get the email for some reason. I used the same addresses that you used. Should we call them or write again or something?

All I have are thier email addresses. I will try them.
